acing your first day on the job scenario-based interaction

Overview:

This scenario-based demo allows learners to practice decision-making skills on their first day at a job. Scenario-based learning is an effective way for learners to practice in a safe space and to learn from their mistakes. Practicing scenario-based questions helps skills transfer to the job.
Design & Process:
The project takes the learner through a series of questions; each answer choice shows a different response based on what they choose. This project relies heavily on variables. Each answer adds to their success meter or takes away points depending on their response. At the end, the learner is provided with more information about the category of each question (first impressions, communication, and asking questions), and whether they got the question right or wrong. If they pass their first day, they are prompted to exit the course, otherwise the learner must restart and try again.  The nature of scenario-based projects elicits complex triggers to create different pathways for each user depending on their answers.
