Overview:
In my role as an Instructional Designer at the Sustainable Living Guide, we aimed to create globally accessible learning to teach about sustainable action-taking. This branching scenario was built as a sector of a larger class to teach the learner about giving feedback in their community garden project.
Design & Process:
The storyboarding was completed in a Miro map where I got continuous feedback from my Senior ID. I made use of trauma-informed changemaking which is the foundational theory of the Sustainable Living Guide. This includes being mindful about the phrasing and wording of content. I built the scenario in Storyline and used Illustrator to help with the visuals. The branching scenario makes use of variables and conditions based on which answer choice the user selects in order to give them a more personalized learning experience.
